STNA (VARIOUS SHIFTS AVAILABLE)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct resident care under the supervision of the charge nurse. The State Tested Nursing Assistant follows established Deaconess Nursing policies and procedures while providing resident care and coordinating care with other facility staff. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you are delegated the administrative authority responsibility and accountability necessary to carry out your assigned duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be minimum of eighteen years of age.
Must hold a current and clear Certified Nursing Assistant license from the state in which the facility is located.
Six months' experience in long term care preferred.
Experience in providing customer service in a professional and timely manner.

WE HAVE RECENTLY UPGRADED OUR PAY SCALE.

RN Supervisor

Full time 3p - 11p (some weekends)   Support DON in 60 Bed Skilled Nursing Unit.  Requires strong clinical knowledge.  Long Term Care and Management experience preferred.  New RN's with prior supervisory LPN experience considered.

Resident Assistant / Care Companion for Dementia Unit - Part-Time

Assist residents with activities of daily living, lead activities in the unit, encourage residents to participate, promote and maintain the physical, emotional and social well-being of Elizabeth Court. 

Part-Time 1st Shift, 7:00am to 3:00pm, 2-3 days a week - 16 to 22.5 hours week

Activity Assistant/Assisted Living

Part time - may include some holidays. 

Coordinate Resident Activities including day to day scheduled programs, documentation, and production of our weekly happenings sheet and one-on-one visits with residents.

Cook ( Various Shifts Available)

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare food and assure that quality food service is provided at all time in accordance with the dietary needs of each resident and under applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.  The duties of the Cook are performed in accordance with Deaconess Dietary policies and procedures, the Deaconess mission philosophy, and as directed by the Dietary Manager.  As Cook, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties.

Minumum Qualifications:  One year experience in a dietary department in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other institutional environment.  Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.

Resident Assistant (Various Shifts Available)

Caregiver experience preferred.  Assist residents in performance of Activities of Daily Living, encouraging residents to participate and promote physical and emotional well being. Maintain comfortable, clean, safe and pleasant environment. Maintain Resident Rights, record keeping and documentation. Make beds, assist with dressing, laundry, trash, and mail delivery. Remind and assist with medications, bathing and transportation to and from meals and activities and other duties assigned by supervisors and as outlined in job description.

Qualifications:  High School diploma or GED preferred.  C.N.A. or previous experience preferred.

Housekeeper Full time Rotating Schedule M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm Sun - Thurs 7:00am to 3:30pm

The primary purpose of the Housekeeper position is to perform the day to day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner to meet the needs of each resient and under applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.  The duties of the Housekeeper are performed in accordance with the Deaconess Housekeeping policies and procedures, the Deaconess mission philosophy and as directed by the Housekeeping Manager and or Administrator.  As the Housekeeper, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountablity necessary for carrying out assigned duties.


Dishwashers - Full Time and Part Time

The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all Dietary Department functions as directed and instructed and in accordance with established Dietary policies and procedures, the Deaconess mission philosophy and as directed by the Dietary Manager.  As the Dishwasher, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties.

Resident Assistant Full Time

The purpose of the Resident Assistant is to perform tasks and actvities to promote the health, safety, comfort, and quality of life for the residents of Heather Court.  The duties of the Resident Assistant are performed in accordance with Deaconess policies and procedures, the Deaconess mission philosophy and as directed by the Assisted Living Director and or Administrator.  As the Resident Assistant, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties. 

Qualifications:  High school diploma or GED preferred  C.N.A. or previous experience preferred

Schedule: Night shift 11pm-7am  Every other weekend 6:30pm - 7am

 


Laundry Aide Full Time 7a - 3:30p Work some holidays

The responsibility of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day to day activities of the Laundry Department.  The Laundry Aide assures that the facililty is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the Residents.

Qualifications:  Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age and experience working in housekeeping or laundry preferred.
